Dear Fikirte,
I am writing, (off topic to your post, forgive me) for submissions to the 5th and future editions of the International Carnival of Pozitivities (ICP) (http://www.internationalcarnivalofpozitivities.blogspot.com). I call upon you to share your blog entries about HIV/AIDS and how it has affected you, your family, friends or caregivers around the world. I will be accepting submissions through midnight, 2 November 2006 for this edition.
I found your post about stigma and mandatory testing. I would like to encourage you to participate in the Carnival as stigma about the illness continues to be an issue worldwide. Through sharing our genuine, true and honest voices with others, we can help chip away at the silence, myth and misinformation about the illness that permeates society. The more personal your stories and the more genuine you can be, the more powerful the message will be.
I hope that you will take the time right now to submit an entry for the November edition. If you choose to wait, please make a note on your calendar to submit by midnight, 2 November 2006.
Sincerely.
Ron Hudson, Founder of the ICP
